St Monans
Welcome to St Monans church, otherwise known as the Auld Kirk. Read on to find out more about what happens at our church.
Services start at 10am and generally last for about an hour. We have an average attendance of about 90 people, with a whole range of ages represented. There is a talk for children, and a creche. The services are easy to follow, even if you are not accustomed to attending church. Worship aims to be spiritual, relevant and uplifting. We serve coffee, tea and biscuits after each service.
If you are in the area and would like to attend church, but find it had to reach, we run an informal service in the lounge of Abercrombie Court on the last Friday of every month at 10.30am. Alternatively, you can receive a free audiotape of the Sunday service delivered to your door every week, on request.
Many people like to drop into a church during the week, to enjoy the quiet space or to pray. St Monans Auld Kirk is open to visitors daily from Easter to October 31 from 9am-5pm. There is no charge, and often there will be a welcomer from the church available to answer questions.
Below are some pictures of the Auld Kirk, taken by various members of the village.
